Konmari is the Japanese art of decluttering, made famous by author and professional organizer Marie Kondo. The method can be challenging because it forces you to examine what you own by holding every item in your hands (or touching it) and determining how much joy it brings you. If you are a diehard Konmari practitioner, you let go of everything you own that does not serve a high purpose and doesn’t spark true joy. so you know how Marie kondo is all about getting rid of things that no longer bring you joy. So I decided to go through a few of my jewelry pieces that didn’t spark me joy anymore and I decided to call a friend who works at the local high school. I asked him if he knew of a high school student that was deserving of some prom jewelry. He knew exactly of the perfect student. When I met her, I kept telling her the universe has her back and that whatever she was doing the universe wanted to gift her. Everything in this Universe has a purpose. Everything you see has a role and meaning. The planets are places in their cradles in space for a reason. You have a purpose in life. The moment you know what this purpose is, is the time you have truly found your Dharma. Hear this call. Live life towards your purpose and help others also to achieve theirs. I hope this sparks inspiration to declutter and bring joy to others.
